In a new mom fit

I am thinking about chopping off all my hair for one of those short messy dos.

Talk me out of this. Last time I did this I was lazy on the upkeep after three days and ended up with mid 30s lesbian soccer mom hair. I was 24. If I do it now I am going to end up looking like an androgynous weight watchers reject.

I think I might just be desperate for some sort of change. Discuss.

My account recently expired.
With all the changes I've heard about but know little about in reality, I am semi-reluctant to renew. I just miss my user pics.
That said, one reason I always did it was to get rid of ads. Despite my no-longer-paid account status, I do not see any ads.

What should I do? Advise, svp.
