but I have always had a deep seeded and firm belief that there is a special part of Hell reserved for people who give out Healthy Halloween snacks to any child other than one with diabetes or food allergies. And for people who try to make nutritious birthday cakes. A pox on them all.

When we were in Ontario we went trick or treating a certain neighborhood with older historic homes, in the city. Not yuppie but very "bobo". The candy was all healthy stuff AND we only got a tiny bit.

In contrast we went to a more suburban neighborhood with lots of older couples (probably grandparents). They gave out tons of the good stuff.
