wendykhI was concerned taking Kay to SR tonight that it would suck, since I read a lot of lukewarm-downright bad reviews.
After viewing, she and I both agree all those bad reviews were written by Comic Shop Guys who need to sit down, STFU, and GBTFark.
Kay's review: "Ass kicking, helicopters, car racing, a seriously Asian flavour, and a monkey! What is there to NOT like about this movie?!"
It looks amazing, and the fight & race scenes Kick Ass.
I was thrilled to have the kid in the theatre who jumped up screaming "OMG RACER X IS JACK SHEPHARD!"
She cried when Racer X told Speed he wasn't Rex. I told her it couldn't be true, maybe he was lying. So we were thrilled to find out at the end he WAS Speed's brother! Kay cried again at this revelation as well.
