Remember me posting about the guy who took out a cop not in uniform being on trial for murder? Well the verdict is in. I am pleased. But I'm also pissed. Because these assclowns decided to play Starsky and Hutch ala Willson and Stiller a rather well known member of the local organized crime family is going free. Some fine police work there, Louis.

School shootings are now so common apparently that we're asking our students word problems based on possible scenarios. WTF? Then again with the above mentioned police work going on, perhaps we're getting a much needed head start on new recruits.

This is really sad. I'm wondering how fast the fire truck had to be going to get the hose end up high and fast enough to knock a lady out and kill her :-(. I'm also confused: there are Jews in Boisbriand? No really. I had no idea.

Please God, let this pass. Anything putting that homeless hating snot and stupid BSL promoter Labonte out of a job is fine by me.

Why does this city continually hate on car owners? Isn't the $3 an hour metered parking seven days a week enough? The car taxes remind me of smoking taxes. They use the money but yet claim they want you to quit. But boy they'd be fucked without that tax revenue...

What is with the Belgian pedophiles anyway? And why, when they say "parents" do I strongly suspect it's mom and a stepdad or boyfriend? How much are you fucking up if your 13 year old is not realizing that being in hotel rooms with 31 yr old men who cross an ocean to see her is Not a Good Idea?

Finally, from the funny bone department, New Dog Breed unveiled. Is it just me or does that dog look awesome? I'd totally have one.

I don't have a problem hating on car owners so long as traffic is the way it is in this city. Once sky-high prices for gas, registration and parking actually starts causing fewer people to drive downtown during rush hour, I'll consider it enough.

And you're right. I don't drive. I don't care. I laugh at drivers complaining about how much it costs them to drive.

f I never left the island I wouldn't drive. I never drive downtown unless it's for business and has to be somewhere RIGHT NOW... and even then it's in and out. If I'll be there longer than say, 10 minutes, I use metro.

Why are you using buses? Buses suck.

I rarely use buses anymore, which I guess means I don't care at all about traffic. I also don't travel with rush hour, so I don't care about that either personally.

I was so annoyed on Canada AM today when they were talking with one of the cops on the case for the pedophile story. She asked him, in that sinister let's-scare-everyone way, "Is this just another example of the dangers that are always lurking online?"

I was about to spit but then luckily the cop was SMART and said something along the lines of, "well yes, there are dangers online and you have to take precautions but there are dangers everywhere. This is really more an example of how parents need to keep an open line of communication with their children, be aware of what they're doing online, and reinforce GENERAL SAFETY RULES."

Thank god. I am so tired of hearing of all the dangers of the deep, dark Internet.
