At this point, whether having the baby or getting the abortion would be more traumatic for this poor raped 11 year old Romanian girl.

I really understand the concept. And despite being, in theory, against the act of abortion, I'm actually extremely pro-abortion (as in getting one) in certain cases, this being one of them.

But I'm wondering why the hell her parents took this long to begin with.
I hope the "missing" uncle is actually underneath their floorboards. I'd approve of that.

I am really glad I am not in this child's shoes nor that of her parents. But, I have to admit, at this point I don't see where having an abortion at 21 weeks is any less traumatic than actually giving birth. Well, unless they knock her out cold. Which I hope they do.

At 21 weeks, if they do a surgical one (as opposed to a D&E), yeah, she'd get knocked out. In the States, at 21 weeks, it's a 2 day procedure and not an easy one -- my college roommate had one at 23 weeks.
