My husband was watching a documentary on A No-Hit No-Run Summer and being as there was lots of expos talk he was all teary during it. I wasn't going to go with him, then I found out Roy Dupuis is in it. Will be attending. Will bring Kay.

But onto the nerd question:
Who bets that pretty soon the NFL requires all "retiring" players to sign non-competition agreements for several years post "retirement" thanks to all the current hoopla?

While I can understand why fans want Favre back, I just think it's shitty to "retire" and then say "oops changed my mind!" Either do it or don't. Don't mess with fans, coaches, and other players.

I'm with you. They (the Packers) have been planning for this for a few years now. All their plans were set. And now, because Favre is, frankly, god in Wisconsin, Aaron Rodgers is fucked if he thinks he can ever get the fans there on his side.

Oh, and as for the actual question, I think the NFL pretty much owns players and their souls for all eternity anyway, so one more demand on them isn't really going to be a big deal.
