Apparently, Kung Fu Panda is culturally offensive to Chinese.

Don't they have some female babies to abandon, some falun gong practitioners to beat up and kill, or some Tibetan history to deny?

In theory, I agree with your point, that it's not cool to be disrespectful and ignorant of someone's culture. However, on a personal level, I'm appalled people who have China's human rights track record have the audacity to be offended by a cartoon.

Also, I'm finding it harder and harder to sympathize with certain people (like the Chinese for one) who fly off the handle at every tiny perceived slight they get from some other country.

I kind of just glaze over when he starts talking for anything longer than 30 seconds and just smile and nod and sip my coffee. When hes done, I say "Wow... no, yeah, you're right, I totally agree.... its .. man, this world...crazy stuff."
