[02] Would you do meth if it was legal?
Oh hell no. Not even smoking or snorting no way no how un uh. And it's not because I am all Miss Pure. I am quite in favour of MJ and I think restricted coke bars (no shooting or cooking, only snorting) could be acceptable. But meth is nasty. Seriously.

[03] Abortion: for or against it?
I dislike the idea, but I dislike the idea of the state being able to tell a woman she must stay pregnant more. I am pleased to report the Supreme Court of Canada agrees with me.

[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female US president?
I actually kind of find this question insulting. Golda Meir is unimpressed.

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
I like the idea of people dying for certain crimes, but I dislike the state having the right to kill citizens.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes. It is no different from alcohol.

[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
I think there's "against it" or "not against it" as I can't really imagine being "WOOT! YEAH PREMARITAL SEX HAWT! LET'S GO!" I suppose I am for it in that I really think one should experiment a lot before marrying. I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean sex as in intercourse, though, although it's awfully hard to avoid it.

Very much so.

[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Ah, USians, this is sooooo 2004!

[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many immigrants are moving into the country?
Hmm.
I am not native so I guess I came to North America via immigration somehow via my ancestors, no? And considering my profession, well, of course I like immigration!

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
If she wants to yes. She should also have plenty of support (and I don't mean financial solely although yes that helps) to do so and give her the best chance to be a good parent.

[12] Should the alcohol age be increased to 21?
Oh for heaven's sake. No.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
I think a mess was made, should be cleaned up, and non-Iraqis should then go home.

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
no.

[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
I've always been confused how it's automatic arrest if my husband so much as shoves me, but I can wallop on a 30 lbs two year old all I want so long as I don't leave a bruise.

WTF.

Seriously. That and have you ever watched an adult hit a kid (I don't use the word spank)? it looks barbaric.

I know shit happens and sometimes people lose it, but as a regular part of a parenting toolbox I think it's pathetic.

[16] Would you burn your countries flag for a million dollars?
Of course. Both of them. Together. Let's not be silly; it's a million dollars and no one dies. The patriots will get over it. I can do lots of good things with that money.

[17] Who do you think would make a better US president? McCain or Obama?
Better isn't the right word. Both would have talents in different areas and bringing different things to the table. At the moment, I'd prefer the tools and talents Obama would bring.

[18] What is the biggest problem with society that needs to be dealt with?
A full out revision of the economy. And I don't mean just lowering inflation or whatever, I mean a complete overhaul of the system. And this stupid racial tension which just keeps poor people from uniting and changing the wealthy upper/ruling class, that needs to go, like last century. Or the one before.

[19] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
No. I don't really care what others think, just sharing myyyyyy thinkings.

This is pretty weak as controversial surveys go, I gotta say.

Also, why does it ask about the drinking age being raised to 21 if it comes from the states? Innit already 21?
