I am trying to convince him to foster a dog.
"Oh, will the foster last for what, ten years?"

Damn him!

Truth is, Pat is a giant softie when it comes to weak and defenseless creatures so he knows he'd have a rough time giving up a foster animal.

I reminded him this is where us getting first right of refusal is convenient! :-D

I have not yet begun to fight! I shall prevail!
