(Probably from not reading National Review since pre-Clinton: Male)
Y'all know how I have schizophrenic political leanings, right?
I liked the conservative (and not so much so) ones who cared about the budget and not medical care or sex lives or which house (if any) of worship one attended. Ones who respected and admired intellectualism and elitism (when and how the holy hell did either of those turn into an insult?!). So yeah I was a big ol' Buckley fan back in the day. (And duh his wordsmithing alone would have won me over if nothing else.
And his son is voting for Obama, and makes the case for why conservatives should.
Hawt.
The sad truth is, people are realizing any man who would choose this nutjob woman who can't even figure out when a report says "BAD GIRL!" for a running mate just clearly does not have the kind of judgment he used to. :-/ Amongst other things. But that one is just so grievous. Gah.
In other news, after conferring with the Douglas county election commissioners office, I am now a registered Douglas county (as in district 1, Nebraska) voter. And yes I voted. It was also made very easy by calling them directly and asking how as opposed to following complicated online instructions.
