I hope to hell I don't have to hear any nonsense about the Greens being at the damn leader debate next election. At least THAT will be consoling.

What a total shitlection.

It's not really surprising though. The economy is going great, and world press is reporting it's practically puppies and rainbows non-stop here. Why on earth would we get rid of Fat Cowboy (tm 22 minutes)?

That said, I'd like to get up on my chair and give a rousing standing ovation to NFLD for kicking the blues to the curb and even *gasp* voting NDP in one riding! Congrats guys, someone out there is keeping up the fight.

How can your economy be going great at this point in time? I don't know much about Canada's economy and I'm curious.

I have no idea.

http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2008/10/08/imf.html attempts to explain but really, I don't know how it's working but technically it is.

Oh OK.

Makes no sense to me either.

Apparently Australians are the world's richest and happiest nation. Go figure.

Me, I'm just happy that KRudd's stimulus package gave me so much freaking money yesterday ;). And the moral obligation to spend it.

Why are you so anti-Green?

I'm not. I'm against valuable and short time taken from a leaders debate and being given to a party who cannot even manage to win one single riding, with a leader who puts herself in a race one can only surmise she wanted to lose! Who the fuck runs against Peter fricking McKay and thinks that's a good idea?! Seriously! Especially when you're the leader and your party desperately needs a seat. I don't want to hear Elizabeth May's thoughts on running the country when she herself, the leader, is not even going to win one single seat (that's grounds for dismissal in most any party) and in fact sets herself up to not do so! I seriously think I could win more votes than she did, and I would be intelligent enough to do it somewhere I could have a minuscule chance of winning. Right now she's looking like someone who just wants to talk politics, not play them.

You win a seat, then you can come sit at the big kids' table.
