Touch screen computers?

They're kidding, right? Because I know there's nothing more I want than greasy fingerprints all over my nice screen. That's gonna go great with potato chips and beer night while reading every single Fark thread, let me tell you.

Seriously, who thinks of this? What's the logic here?

Pretty much exactly my thoughts. I can't see why anyone with a kid or anyone who eats at their computer (like probably 90% of us) would want one of them.

I saw the commercial and thought that it was pretty neat. I do see your point about greasy fingerprints though.

Yeah, chips and beer at my computer at night are a staple of my life. Wouldn't work for me.

I just don't get it because for the last at least 5ish years, there's been an "omg check out this hawt screen" fetish and "omg don't touch because yk it's plasma or something and here use this special microfiber cloth to clean it and always use this whenever you close your laptop" speech, but now it's

"stick your damn fingers all over it!"

I'm just envisioning smudges everywhere.
I admit this is why I won't get an iphone or itouch too. Ew. Stylus for the win!

Oh god, I just got a secondhand iPod Touch and I love love love it so much, but yeah, I'm always looking for a cloth to wipe it with!
