I couldn't believe it really happened.

But you know what was even cooler than seeing "my" candidate win? Watching my daughter as she finally grasped what dual citizenship means, and understood the US is her country too, and realized that someday, she too gets to participate in that process. And why.

I would also like to say I thought McCain was super classy in his concession and honestly as a human in general.

I wish he had won in 2000.

I cried too. And I agree about McCain. But his supporters were feral. One has to wonder how different the world would be if he had won nomination in 2000.

It was a shame about the boo-ing supporters though. The evangelical right are scary!

I'm so glad Obama won, I can't bear to think of the world a heartbeat away from Palin as president!
