"If we keep her, I think we need to get a crate, since she's crate trained, and a citronella collar, for the barking issue."
Hubby replied:
"Oh no, we're totally keeping her. You buy what you need to buy, do what you need to do. She's a sweet dog who just needs a family to love her."
Note:
as of at least one year ago, this man was a certified dog hater ;-)

Date: 2008-12-17 09:32 am (UTC)Ahaha, my dad was the same way. After my moms sheepdog died when I was just a little kid, they didnt want dogs anymore. By the time I reached highschool I'd convinced them to get another one, and we ended up rescuing a beagle-basset mutt. My dad became a certified "dog-guy" with that pup, and they had three dogs up until just recently (one puppy got doggie-stomach-cancer (cry))
